COURSE DESCRIPTION
This provides an in-depth and progressive study of wheel-thrown pottery. Students learn how to use the potter's wheel and decorate pottery using a variety of techniques. Throughout the class, students will develop a broad range of skills that can be applied to wheel thrown pottery. While developing utilitarian pottery pieces as well decorative pieces, students will find their own voice as a potter. Special attention is given to individual development and artistic expression.
